Wedding on Blades

We chose a cozy restaurant with a spacious terrace, where we could set up this surprise in a way that guests wouldn’t notice its preparation. Everything took place outdoors, creating an atmosphere of anticipation. When the guests stepped onto the terrace, their attention was drawn to a six-meter metal trap featuring 12 blades and 8 spinning saws. The theatrical performance immersed everyone in an atmosphere of mystery and excitement.
The performance involved me, as the artist, being tightly secured in a straitjacket and raised 4 meters above the ground upside down. I had just 1 minute and 25 seconds to escape before the trap would snap shut. Throughout the show, there was such tension that guests even forgot to breathe for a moment.

All attendees couldn’t take their eyes off this spectacle, making the event not just a show but a real experience that would be remembered by the newlyweds and their loved ones for many years to come.
The client, the father of the newlyweds, reached out with a request to organize something grandiose that would shake up the wedding and leave unforgettable impressions on the couple. He wanted a unique surprise that would become the highlight of the celebration. After discussing ideas, we arrived at a concept that combined elements of inspiration, excitement, and adrenaline, perfectly aligning with his wishes.
Description:
My challenge was to organize a vibrant and spectacular presentation for the wedding that not only would be memorable for the newlyweds but also provide an unforgettable experience for all the guests, leaving especially tender memories in their hearts. Creating such a show required a creative approach and careful attention to every detail to ensure it matched the style and mood of the event.
Task and challenge
Decision
I proposed the concept of a unique act featuring an escape from a straitjacket. This solution involved the use of high-quality visual effects that would enhance the overall impression of the performance. We meticulously crafted a script enriched with elements of drama and romance, making the presentation not only visually striking but also emotionally charged.
The climax of the entire event came when I, being lifted 4 meters above the ground upside down and tightly bound in a straitjacket, had to escape from a giant trap with 12 blades and 8 spinning saws in just 1 minute and 25 seconds. This trick, filled with tension and excitement, transcended mere entertainment; it became a true theatrical performance that captivated the attention of everyone present.

Result
Ultimately, the wedding remained in the memory of all attendees as an unforgettable and thrilling event. Guests were astonished by my performance, which became the highlight of the evening and allowed the newlyweds and their relatives to share unique experiences.
